Gran Scala Guide

About: Gran Scala is a leisure city being built in Europe. It'll have family entertainment and gambling and is being built as a crossover of Las Vegas and Euro Disney. When completed, it will have 32 casinos (themed after historical time periods and cultures), shopping centers, museums, hotels, theme parks, golf, horse racing, and more. When completed it is expected to attract 25 million visitors annually.

When: The city is scheduled to open by 2012 with 10 casino-hotels, 3 mega theme parks, 4 mid-sized parks, restaurants, bars, stores and other services; the project is expected to be completed by 2022. Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2010.

Location: Gran Scala will be located in the middle of the Monegros desert in eastern Spain between Madrid and Barcelona.
